Background

Gendell started in the insurance industry in the mid-1990’s. Her first job was in sales with Allstate. Since then she has worked with independent agencies for over 20 years in both sales and service in the personal lines field.  Now working at LaPorte for the past nine years, she has blossomed into a valued team player.

She believes because independent agents have a variety of markets to choose from, this offers a better opportunity to find a company which will fit her client’s needs.

Gendell strives to be a permanent fixture in her client’s lives. Just like their hairdresser, mailman, doctor or dentist. She will always be there to advise or service their insurance needs.

She also keeps that same mentality when raising her two kids ages 12 and 14 with her husband of 15 years. The children do their fair share to keep them very busy on the weekends with various activities.
